힙합 클래식 재발매 캠페인 Respect The Classics 시리즈, 그래미 3회 수상에 빛나는 필라델피아 베이스 힙합 밴드 The Roots의 1996년 세번째 정규 앨범 Illadelph Halflife [Gatefold Cover][2LP]! 1995년 메이저 음반사 DGC Records에 계약 후 두번째로 발표된 앨범으로 The Grand Negaz, Kelo, Questlove가 중심이 되어 프로듀싱 되었으며 Raphael Saadiq, Common, D'Angelo, Q-Tip, Amel Larrieux, 재즈뮤지션 Joshua Redman, Cassandra Wilson등이 참여했다. 싱글로는 'Clones', 'Concerto of the Desperado', 'What They Do'가 인기를 얻었으며 앨범은 차트 21위까지 올랐었다.
